For parents

You know the look. Glazed eyes, thumb scrolling, “five more minutes”.

We built Little Wisp for parents who want their child absorbed in something good, without a screen doing the absorbing. You stay in charge. The story does the rest.

Ears on

Eyes free to look out of the window.

Voice on

Your child talks; the story listens.

Endings

Every path ends. No infinite feed.

Your account

Progress saved under you, not a child profile.

Who it is for

Children who like being asked

Little Wisp suits children who cannot read yet, or are just starting, and who light up when a story stops and says: what should happen now?

Ages [INTENDED AGE RANGE, e.g. 4–8]

Stories are written for this range. Younger children usually enjoy it with a grown-up beside them; older ones happily run it themselves.

Listeners, not readers

Nothing needs to be read or tapped. The story speaks, the child speaks back.

Shy ones too

A quiet child is not stuck. The story asks again kindly, then moves on by itself. Many children find their voice by the second story.

What you control

A grown-up holds the remote

  • You choose the story

Every story in the library was read and approved by an author before publication. You pick which ones your child hears.

  • You press play

A story starts with one tap from you. After that, there is nothing on the screen a child needs.

  • You can pause, skip, or start again

Progress is saved, so a story interrupted at bedtime picks up where it left off.

  • You can see, export and delete what we hold

Ask us and we will send you everything held under your account, or delete it. Details are in the privacy notice.

What Little Wisp is not

Some honest boundaries

  • Not a companion or chatbot

Little Wisp does not chat. It asks the questions its author wrote, understands answers only as one of the offered choices, and never improvises.

  • Not a teaching product

We do not make claims about vocabulary, literacy or development. It is a story your child gets to steer. If that is also good for them, wonderful.

  • Not a babysitter

It is calm and self-contained, but it is still a story on a device. We designed it so you can sit in, and so nothing bad happens if you do not.

  • Not finished

Little Wisp is in early access. Some things parents rightly expect are still being built. See below.

Early access

What is here, and what is on the way

  • Speech answers, gentle re-asks, and a typed fallback for grown-ups
  • Saved progress, so a story can be resumed
  • Export and deletion of everything held under an account, on request

Before general launch

  • Parent sign-in and a verified parental consent step before any recording, using [PLACEHOLDER: VERIFIABLE PARENTAL CONSENT METHOD]
  • A parent area for progress, export and deletion without emailing us
  • Pricing: [PLACEHOLDER: PRICE, BILLING CADENCE AND RENEWAL TERMS]
  • Availability: [PLACEHOLDER: COUNTRIES / STATES / PROVINCES SERVED]

We will not start collecting anything new without telling you first and, where required, asking again.
